Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as the first-line advocate for our members, focusing on resolving routine complaints and providing timely, accurate, and personalized support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and responding to member inquiries, requests, and concerns via phone, live chats, and emails in an accurate and timely manner
  • Mitigating and preventing complaints from being escalated by resolving issues in the initial contact
  • Serving as the front-line resolution advocate for various member inquiries, requests, or concerns
  • Resolving basic problems by communicating requested information, assessing member needs, understanding the cause, and determining if problems need to be routed to other departments for further resolution
  • Maintaining performance and quality standards based on established contact center metrics
  • Documenting all member information and communications for quality and performance tracking through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
  • Remaining up-to-date and adhering to quality standards, regulations, and all other policies to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Performing other duties as assigned and complying with all policies and standards

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or GED
  • Fluency in Korean, Vietnamese, or Mandarin
  • Entry-level experience, with little or no previous experience required
  • Prior experience interacting and multitasking using multiple systems and programs simultaneously is preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work in a high-paced contact center environment and maintain performance and quality standards
