Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering a high volume of incoming calls and part-facing visits, resolving customer inquiries, and providing exceptional service to our clients. You will work closely with our purchasing and activities staff to ensure seamless communication and resolve complex issues related to online orders, tracking, and deliveries. Key Responsibilities

* Answer a high volume of incoming calls and part-facing visits in a timely and professional manner

  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to online orders, tracking, and deliveries
  • Provide exceptional service to our clients, promoting our products and services in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Work closely with our purchasing and activities staff to ensure seamless communication and resolve complex issues
  • Utilize critical thinking and decisive reasoning skills to determine request/item/conveyance issues
  • Use different computer programs simultaneously on various screens while on the telephone or answering visits
  • Consider and offer rewards as needed
  • Work as the contact between Costco.com clients, merchants, purchasing and activities staff

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary School Recognition or GED equivalent

  • Internet Business Part Administration Specialist Certificate after completion of 14-day instructional class
  • Past customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient business writing skills
  • Capability with writing (minimum writing speed of 30 wpm)
  • Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including weekends and split days off

Preferred Qualifications

* Solid foundation in customer service, including great interpersonal skills, brief friendly assistance, and phenomenal follow-through

  • Ability to adjust and function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take ownership and tackle issues
  • Ability to exhibit learning and thinking abilities
  • Solid time management skills
  • Bilingual capabilities an asset
