Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our pediatric therapy team in Houston, TX. As a PT at Aveanna Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in multiple settings, including our outpatient clinic and in-home care. You will be responsible for providing industry-leading pediatric therapy to help our patients make the most of their care or recovery. Our local office is looking for a compassionate PT who would like to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in the clinic and home health settings
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care to patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Meets the qualifications as established by APTA or other professional organization
  • Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s License and automotive insurance
  • Experienced in pediatric rehabilitative services preferred
  • Ability to work in home and clinic-based settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
