About the Role

As an Online English Teacher with Preply, you will have the opportunity to teach English online to students all over the world, on your own schedule and at your own price. You will be able to create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students. Our integrated calendar will allow you to set your availability and schedule lessons with students. You will also have access to training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, setting your own schedule and rates
• Create engaging lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to meet students' needs
• Use Preply's integrated calendar to manage your schedule and book lessons with students
• Participate in training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and webinars
• Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support students' learning
• Be energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful in your interactions with students

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English
• A University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching
• Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online
• A high-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
