Senior Software Developer
Location: Fort Knox Centric (REMOTE)Required Clearance: SecretRequired Education: Bachelor’ s Degree in relevant field.Required Experience: ten plus (10+) years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of software applications and systems.
- Experience in developing computer software code.
- Experience in a variety of software programming languages.
- Architect solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with best practices.
- Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Continuously improve and refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in software development projects.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Work with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure timely delivery of software projects, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Identify potential risks and technical challenges, providing solutions to mitigate them.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to adopt new tools and technologies that improve software development processes.
- Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Follow established coding and development standards to maintain code consistency and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in relevant field
