  • Cash Flow & Capital Management: Oversee working capital, liquidity, funding needs, and capital structure. Ensure the business is well-positioned for growth and resilience.

  • Team & Function Development: Build and manage an internal finance capability over time, mentoring junior staff or managing future in-house hires.

  • Finance Department Oversight: Prior responsibility for managing outsourced finance providers or hybrid finance functions.

  • FP&A Background: Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering strategic insights for business decision-making.

  • M&A Expertise: Proven track record in leading and executing M&A deals, including due diligence and post-merger integration.

  • Cross-Border Finance Experience: Direct exposure to both UK and US financial operations (tax, reporting, compliance, and investor relations). Experience managing cross-jurisdictional finance issues is essential.

  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting standards, corporate finance, and financial modelling.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting at Board level and managing investor relations.

  • Change Leadership: Ability to scale financial processes and systems in line with rapid business growth.
