Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for part-time Math and Science tutors to work in-home with students in Santa Monica, West LA, Brentwood, Palisades, and Beverly Hills. As a tutor with LA Tutors 123, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a collaborative and dynamic environment, using your expertise to drive academic success and inspire a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home tutoring services to students in Math and Science subjects, including Algebra II, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics
• Develop and implement customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning style
• Manage tutoring timelines and communicate effectively with students, parents, and our team
• Utilize your teaching and tutoring experience to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and subject matter expertise

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of prior teaching or tutoring experience
• A relatively flexible schedule, particularly after 12 PM on weekdays
• In-depth knowledge of Middle School and High School Math and Science subjects, including Algebra II, Geometry, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics
• Bachelor's degree or higher from a prestigious university
• Strong interpersonal skills and a fun, positive personality
• Minimum 1-year commitment to working with LA Tutors 123
