Job Description

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals, system guides, process documentation, FAQs, and product specifications. You’ll own the documentation process end to end—from planning and interviewing subject matter experts to publishing final content. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, strong editor, and detail-oriented professional with the ability to work independently while coordinating across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical content including product manuals, help guides, API documentation, and FAQs.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and developers to gather and clarify technical information.

• Translate technical details into clear, user-friendly documentation for various audiences.

• Maintain document version control and ensure all published materials meet quality and brand standards.

• Work in agile environments, participating in sprint planning and release cycles.

• Manage multiple writing projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

• Conduct peer reviews and incorporate feedback to improve clarity, accuracy, and structure.

• Assist in creating templates, documentation standards, and writing guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a technical writer in a software, IT, or SaaS environment.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.

• Expertise in using tools like Confluence, Git, Markdown, Adobe FrameMaker, or MadCap Flare.

• Experience documenting APIs, software architectures, and user interface behavior.

• Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule with occasional in-person meetings.
