In this full-time position, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from members and providers, addressing a range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your primary goal will be to provide accurate and timely resolutions to customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. As a remote worker, you will be required to have a reliable and secure internet connection, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound member and provider calls, answering questions and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, additional benefits, and programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders
  • Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality objectives
  • Effectively communicate with members and providers, both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently in a remote setting, with the ability to drive to the Richmond, VA office when required due to technical issues

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Qualifications

  • Reliable and secure internet connection, with the ability to use an ethernet connection (Wi-Fi not allowed)
  • Ability to drive to the Richmond, VA office when required

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting
