The Opportunity: ACT/SAT English/Reading Prep Tutor

As an ACT/SAT English/Reading Prep Tutor at Huntington Learning Center Chattanooga, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with high school students in a one-to-one setting, helping them prepare for the English and Reading sections of the ACT and SAT exams. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and summers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized instruction to high school students in ACT/SAT English/Reading Prep.
• Assess student strengths and weaknesses to develop targeted learning plans.
• Deliver high-quality educational content, leveraging your expertise in English and Reading.
• Track student progress, adjusting your teaching strategies as needed to ensure student success.
• Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in English or Reading.

• The ability to commute to our Chattanooga location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A teaching certification or license.
• Experience with ACT/SAT test preparation.
