- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (variable start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,490 - $2,670
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system preferred
- Proficient in circulating and scrubbing for various surgical specialties: Urology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gender Affirmation procedures
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Experience in community hospital, LTAC, or Trauma Level I/II settings preferred
- Ability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- All certifications must be current and in hand at time of submission
- Willingness to float to other healthcare locations if census is low
- Return staff policy: Must be gone 1 year to return as traveler
- Circulate and scrub for a broad range of surgical procedures, including Urology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gender Affirmation surgeries
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including interpretation services, radiology, and unit secretaries
- Utilize Epic charting system for accurate clinical documentation
- Float to other CPMC locations as needed to support patient care
- Participate in orientation and complete all required e-learning modules
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adult populations
