Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Account Manager to join our Global Ecommerce team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales efforts. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities among 3PLs, Technology Platform Partners, and Integrators for Pitney Bowes Global Ecommerce's Designed Delivery and Return small parcel solutions.
  • Penetrate existing account base to better understand Domestic and International small parcel requirements, leading to new business opportunities and key decision-maker relationships.
  • Coordinate customer meetings with decision-makers to identify needs over wants, determine areas of opportunity, and develop sales strategies to win new business.
  • Identify areas of churn to develop strategies for winning back business.
  • Prospect and hunt for new business through various customer opportunity identification methods.
  • Engage with customers to identify areas of need while creating value throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Operations to establish standard operating procedures for meeting customer expectations.
  • Educate customers to provide independent tracking and reporting capabilities.
  • Apply sales strategies to identify areas where Pitney Bowes Global Ecommerce solutions can be implemented.
  • Plan Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers to review business trends and performance.
  • Develop strategies for winning back business and promoting growth.
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) preferred.
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct research and develop territory sales plans and possesses organization/strategic planning skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in successful territory management.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of small parcel sales experience (Ecommerce preferred).
  • Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer sales experience, or customer-facing role experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the ecommerce logistics industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

What We Offer
