As a fully remote HRR Follow-Up Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the reimbursement they deserve, and that our revenue cycle runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

As a Fully Remote HRR Follow-Up Representative, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Investigating claims status with insurance carriers and correcting and resubmitting denied claims to ensure maximum reimbursement
  • Reviewing and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and reason (ANSI) codes to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Submitting appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials
  • Utilizing insurance carrier websites to research and resolve claims issues
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve claims-related issues and improve revenue cycle efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of claims status and follow-up activities
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Education Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED

Experience Preferred:

+ 1 year of experience in insurance follow-up or a similar role + Epic experience preferred

Experience Required:

+ Submitting appeals and reconsiderations on claim rejections, underpayments, and denials + Knowledge of both government and commercial insurance plans + Ability to review and interpret EOBs and reason (ANSI) codes + Ability to use and understand insurance carrier websites
