We're now looking for a reliable and skilled Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our team on a contract basis, with an immediate start for the right candidate.

About the Role

As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving success through the exploration and management of vendors for cross-company and strategic initiatives. You will manage large vendor partnerships, coordinating and collaborating with 3rd party vendors and operational counterparts. Your strong communication and influencing skills will be essential in working closely and effectively with team members and key project stakeholders, including sourcing, finance, product management, engineering, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the exploration and management of vendors for cross-company and strategic initiatives
  • Manage large vendor partnerships, coordinating and collaborating with 3rd party vendors and operational counterparts
  • Work closely and effectively with team members and key project stakeholders, including sourcing, finance, product management, engineering, and operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to drive business growth and success
  • Develop and deliver strong presentations using Keynote or Google Slides to communicate vendor management strategies and results
  • Balance execution and communications at a leadership level, with a focus on strategic management and mindset

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 6-8 years of program or product management experience, preferably in the travel or tech industry
  • Strong presentation skills using Keynote or Google Slides, with the ability to build and tell a story that is clear, concise, and easy to understand
  • Strong vendor management experience, with the ability to explore and consider new vendors to Airbnb
  • Strategic management experience and mindset, with a focus on driving business growth and success
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Execution-oriented, with strong strategic and presentation skills, including strong visual deck skills in Google Slides or Keynote

Education

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required. We value a great attitude and a willingness to learn above all.
