Kluge Interactive is an immersive game studio building the future of human connection through immersive and enhanced experiences. We are best known for Synth Riders, one of the most popular VR rhythm games.

We’re currently working on several new VR titles and developing games for a UGC social platform, collaborating with some of the world’s most influential VR, music, and technology companies.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Senior Digital Artist to join our team to create stunning promotional art. The role involves servicing a wide range of video game projects under the guidance of various game studios.

The ideal candidate is a master of digital illustration and composition with a passion for gaming and a proven track record of creating high-quality, impactful key art. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the visual identity of multiple games—leading creative efforts from launch campaigns through to potential live-operations opportunities.

You'll be supported by creative leadership and a team of multiple artists. Candidates must demonstrate an aptitude for quickly learning new processes. After onboarding, we will trust your expertise as a specialist in your field, combining artistic skill with process know-how to meet our goals.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Digital Artist, with a strong focus on promotional art for video games.
• Proven experience working on multiple game genres, with a keen understanding of what resonates with different player audiences.
• Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop and any digital paint tool like Procreate, Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent tools.
• A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital illustration and 3D composition, particularly in game key art, is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with AI image generation tools and the ability to integrate them effectively into the art pipeline.
• A strong eye for composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative ideas and feedback clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Video Editor and/or Motion Graphics Artist creating engaging game trailers and video content for marketing.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
• A passion for casual mobile games and a deep understanding of the market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of compelling promotional art for a diverse range of video game genres. With a focus on casual and mobile
• Conceptualize, design, and execute high-resolution key art using a variety of digital illustration and or 3D composition techniques, depending on the project needs.
• Masterfully utilize AI image generation tools as an accelerator and enhancer to the art creation process, from concept ideation to final polish.
• Collaborate with different game teams to understand project goals and deliver art that effectively communicates the game's theme and appeal.
• Ensure all promotional art maintains a consistent and high-quality visual standard across all marketing channels.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to the process of collaborating with the game studios
