Senior Financial Accountant/ Finance Manager

Remote role Full-time Open position

Responsibilities

Manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial statements.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.

Prepare and analyze financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Coordinate and oversee statutory financial audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.

Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements and local regulations.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial reporting and controls.

Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and drive financial performance.

Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements.

Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on month-end closing, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
